As overseas regular season and playoff schedules begin to wind down, the Libs Abroad Weekly Roundup is back for the final recap of the 2022-23 offseason. Before looking ahead to the highly anticipated Liberty season, let’s get you caught up on the team’s impressive recent stretch:

Breanna Stewart was named the Libs Abroad Presented by Withings March Player of the Month after a stellar six-game run. Stewie carried the momentum into April, and most recently, led Fenerbahçe to their 21st consecutive victory behind a 26-point and 11-board double-double in the KBSL Quarterfinals.

While they await their KBSL Semifinal opponent, Fenerbahçe will also prepare for next week’s EuroLeague Semifinal matchup against Schio on Friday, April 14 at 9 a.m. ET.

Sika Koné recorded her top scoring performance of the season on Wednesday, finishing with 29 points and 14 rebounds on 75% (12-16) from the field; her 22nd double-double of the season.

Marine Johannès showed out in Game 1 of the EuroCup Finals where she posted a game-high 25 points on 47% (8-17) from the floor and 45.5% (5-11) from three alongside four assists.

MJ’s performance helped Lyon take a 39-point lead (95-56) over Galatasaray in the two-game aggregate series. Game 2 will take place on Wednesday, April 12 at 1:00 p.m. ET.

Raquel Carrera recorded her season-best scoring performance, pacing Valencia with a game-high 24 points on a combined 73.3% (11-15) from the field.

On Wednesday, Raquel’s efficient scoring continued when she finished with 16 points on 88.9% (8-9) from the field in Valencia’s 83-64 victory.

Highlights

Courtney Vandersloot notched her second double-double of the season with 17 points and 14 dimes in Game 1 of the Quarterfinals.

On Monday, in Game 2, Sloot neared a triple-double with a season-high 20 points, nine assists, and seven boards.

Three-Pointer

Epiphanny Prince tallied a near triple-double with a season-high of 22 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists in Galatasaray’s 89-83 victory against Bursa. Prince also shot a split of 56.3% (9-16) from the field, 40% (2-5) from deep, and 100% (2-2) at the line.

In the EuroCup Finals, Piph added 11 points, grabbed six boards, and dished four dimes.

Last Sunday, Marine Fauthoux netted 20 points on 42.9% (3-7) from distance in Landes’ 79-67 win; her fourth 20+ point game of the season.

Highlights

Leonie Fiebich shot a lights-out 83.3% (5-6) from three-point range en route to 17 points in Zaragoza’s 71-50 win.

In the next contest, Leonie followed up with 16 points, eight rebounds, and four assists on 75% (6-8) from the field and 100% (2-2) from beyond the arc.
