Neah Odom led all Libs Abroad scorers this week recording 25 points on nine of 18 (50.0%) from the field, two of five (40.0%) from beyond the arc, along with seven rebounds and four assists in Kyiv’s 95-90 victory. The day before, Neah posted her first professional double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds, six of which were on the offensive glass, in an 88-84 win.
Natasha Howard continued her dominant overseas campaign this week. On Sunday, Tash totaled 24 points on 10 of 17 (58.8%) from the field, eight rebounds, four assists, and four steals in Dynamo Kursk’s 74-66 win over Nadezhda O. Howard followed up her performance with a 16-point, eight-rebound outing where she shot two for four (50.0%) from three and led Kursk to an 80-64 EuroLeague victory over Schio on Wednesday.
Jaz Jones rounds out this week’s top scorers as the third Liberty player to record 24+ points in their overseas contest this week. On Wednesday, Jones shot a combined nine of 17 (52.9%), including three of six (50.0%) from deep, secured seven rebounds, and dished four assists in Hatayspor’s convincing 103-51 victory over Elazig. Last Saturday, Jaz finished with a near double-double of 10 points and eight boards across 35 minutes of action.
Sami Whitcomb helped lead the Perth Lynx to a pair of victories on the week. Sami’s week was highlighted by yesterday’s outing where she finished with 16 points, converted on six of 15 field goal attempts (40.0%), four of which were threes, and recorded four rebounds. Last Sunday, Whitcomb added seven points and five boards in Perth’s 86-81 win.
Paris Kea tied her season high scoring this past week, tallying 16 points on four of six (66.7%) from deep and three rebounds over 19 minutes in Sparta&K MR’s 88-63 win over Dynamo M.
Yesterday, Bec Allen and Valencia Basket continued their EuroCup title defense with an 85-77 win over Polkowice in the Round of 8. Bec knocked down four of her six three-point attempts (66.7%) along with a pair of free throws for a total of 14 points and four rebounds.
In Adelaide’s 77-52 win over Sydney, Kylee Shook finished with 10 points on four of nine (44.4%) from the field, six rebounds, and four assists over 32 minutes. The Lightning currently sit atop the WNBL standings at 4-1.
Michaela Onyenwere and Spar Girona extended their LF Endesa win streak to five consecutive games with their 67-48 victory over Bembibre. Michaela added three points and three rebounds in 16 minutes.
