For the second consecutive week, Marine Fauthoux registered a 20-plus point performance. Fauthoux recorded a game-high 23 points on an efficient 55.6% (5-9) shooting from three along with six rebounds and three assists.
Marine then added a near double-double of eight points, seven boards, and four assists in Landes’ 71-66 victory against Hainaut yesterday.
Sami Whitcomb recorded three double figure contests this week. Whitcomb totaled 12 points on 75.0% (6-8) shooting from the field, 50.0% (2-4) beyond the arc and dished six assists in Perth’s 75-68 win over Townsville.
In her second of back-to-back games against Townsville, Sami dropped 16 points, converted on 50.0% (6-12) of her shots, and grabbed five rebounds.
Yesterday, in Game One of the Semifinals series against Canberra, the two-time WNBA Champion led her squad with a game-high 20 point-performance. Whitcomb shot 60.0% (6-10) from the field, a stellar 80.0% (4-5) from deep, and earned her first double-double of the season after pulling down a team-high 11 boards.
Marine Johannès led Lyon to a 78-75 win over Flammes behind a game-changing 20-point performance. Johannès knocked down an impressive 60.0% (6-10) of her triples and tallied five assists.
Earlier in the week, Marine added nine points, all of which came from beyond the arc, along with a pair of boards.
Bec Allen shot 60.0% (3-5) from three-point territory en route to a 15-point finish in Valencia’s 67-75 EuroCup Quarterfinal loss to Venezia. Allen added six rebounds and a pair of steals in 32 minutes.
Kylee Shook posted a 14-point, seven-rebound performance where she shot 46.1% (6-13) from the field and 50.0% (2-4) from deep in 21 minutes of action.
Stef Dolson tallied a season-best 14 points behind a 77.8% (7-9) shooting performance alongside four rebounds in Sopron’s 95-34 win over TFSE-MTK.
Last Saturday, Dolson registered another solid performance of 12 points and four rebounds while converting on 50.0% (3-6) from the field in another convincing domestic victory, 88-50.
