Libs Abroad Weekly Roundup Presented by Withings: 12/16

The Libs Abroad Weekly Roundup continues with another action-packed week to recap, featuring an electrifying outing from Marine Johannès, a trio of 22-point nights, Michaela Onyenwere’s debut in Spain, and noteworthy performances across the board. Let’s get you caught up on your Liberty favorites around the world!

Marine Johannès put together one of the most notable performances of the Libs Abroad season on Wednesday in Lyon’s 83-77 victory against Zabiny Brno in EuroCup. Marine dropped a season-high 25 points on a lights-out 70% (7-10) from three, complimented by seven assists. For context, her burst of triples would have tied the Liberty franchise record for single-game three-pointers made, done so only seven times in the team’s 26-year history.

MJ had another strong shooting performance this past weekend, finishing with 12 points–all of which came from deep at a 44.% (4-9) clip–plus a trio of assists in an 89-72 win over Toulouse.
