Last Sunday, Natasha Howard led Dynamo Kursk to victory behind a season-high double-double of 22 points and 15 rebounds against Sparta&K MR. Howard finished on 50.0% (8-16) shooting from the field and 60.0% (3-5) from deep along with four assists in the 81-72 win.

Kylee Shook and the Adelaide Lightning extended their winning streak to three games behind a pair of wins on the week. Shook posted a season-best performance of 20 points on 50.0% (6-12) from the field, nine boards and three blocks in the 73-56 victory against Sydney.

Two days prior, Kylee recorded her second double-double of the WNBL season with 14 points and 11 rebounds, six of which were offensive, in Adelaide’s 84-77 defeat of Bendigo.

Bec Allen and the No. 2-seeded Valencia Basket Club also secured a pair of domestic victories on the week. Allen’s two-game slate was highlighted by her 14-point performance where she shot a perfect 100% (4-4) from distance in a 75-50 win over Cadi La Seu.

Earlier in the week, Bec added five points and four rebounds in Valencia’s 59-52 victory against Estudiantes.

In Sparta&K MR’s 72-81 loss to Kursk, Paris Kea recorded her second highest scoring output of the season with 14 points. Kea shot 71.4% (5-7) from the floor, 100% (2-2) at the free throw line, and grabbed a trio of boards across 23 minutes.

Stef Dolson enjoyed a successful season debut with Sopron Basket in Hungary, earning her first win of the season against PINKK-Pesci, 83-40. Dolson tallied 13 points on 66.7% (6-9) shooting from the field and six rebounds in just 16 minutes of action.

Coming off last week’s 66-66 tie, Marine Johannès and Lyon qualified for the EuroCup Quarterfinal Round after securing a 78-54 victory over Lublin. Johannès totaled 15 points, three rebounds and two assists on 55.6% (5-9) from the field and 42.8% (3-7) from three; showcasing both her range and passing.

Earlier in the week, Marine J. bested Marine F. in their head-to-head matchup between Lyon and Landes. In her club’s 67-52 win, Johannès had a near double-double of nine points and nine assists while converting on 40.0% (4-10) from the field.

This week, Michaela Onyenwere split her pair of domestic contests in Spain. Onyenwere scored nine points while netting 40.0% (2-5) of her attempts from the floor and 83.3% (5-6) of her free throw attempts in a one-possession loss to Gran Canaria, 68-71.

Michaela and Girona returned to the win column on Wednesday, defeating Araski 93-68. The incoming second-year forward added five points and a pair of boards in 15 minutes of work.

In Landes’ 52-67 loss to Lyon last Saturday, Marine Fauthoux totaled seven points, two rebounds and two assists in the LFB matchup.
