On Friday night, the New York Liberty (21-6) defeated the Minnesota Lynx (13-15), 76-66, to end their road trip with an undefeated, 3-0, record. New York also evened the season series against Minnesota to 1-1.
At Target Center, the Liberty finished on 40% (30-75) shooting from the field, 30% (9-30) from three, and 87.5% (7-8) at the free throw line.
New York’s defense held Minnesota to 18.8% (3-16) shooting from the three-point line, which marked a season-low for opponents.
The Liberty pulled down a season-high 16 offensive rebounds resulting in 25 second-chance points.

Notching her eighth double-double of the season and sixth in the last eight games, Jonquel Jones totaled 15 points on 63.6% (7-11) shooting from the floor, a season-high-tying 17 rebounds, including five offensive, and two blocks.
In the fourth quarter alone, Jones dropped nine points and pulled down eight rebounds, including three on the offensive boards. She has now recorded double-digit rebounds in seven of her last eight appearances.
