Punctuated by a clutch, go-ahead pullup with 17.6 seconds remaining, 2021 All-Star, Betnijah Laney, totaled 17 points on 44.4% (8-18) shooting from the field along with eight assists and seven rebounds in a vintage all-around performance. Tonight, Betnijah scored in double figures for the 21st time through her first 23 games in Seafoam.

Rebecca Allen finished with 17 points off the bench on 55.6% (5-9) shooting from the field, including 83.3% (5-6) shooting from behind the arc– her second-highest scoring output of the season. 14 of her 17 points came in the second half. She also added six rebounds and two steals.

In her second game back in the Liberty lineup, Natasha Howard scored 10 points on 50% (4-8) shooting from the field against her former team.

Sabrina Ionescu finished with 10 points on 44.4% (4-9) shooting, seven rebounds, and five assists; her 11th game scoring in double figures this season.

Finishing with nine points on 100% (3-3) shooting and two made three-pointers, 2021 No. 17 overall pick DiDi Richards set new career-highs in points, three-pointers made, and field goals in her 22nd career game. She also finished with a game-high +19 plus/minus.

Former Storm sharpshooter and 2021 Most Improved Player Award candidate, Sami Whitcomb, scored nine points on 75% (3-4) shooting from the field. Whitcomb also finished with four rebounds, two assists, and a steal.

Seattle’s Jewell Loyd led the Storm in scoring. She tied her career-high with a 35-point performance on 50% (13-26) shooting from the field.
