Season in Review: Han Xu

The New York Liberty selected Chinese forward/center Han Xu (14th overall) in the 2nd Round of the 2019 WNBA Draft as the first Chinese player drafted to the WNBA since 1997.

At 19, Han is the league’s youngest player and at 6-9, she joins Phoenix Mercury center Brittney Griner and Las Vegas Aces center Liz Cambage as one of the W’s tallest players.

On August 30, Han Xu played a career-high 18 minutes and scored a career-high 12 points, including 2-2 from deep and 5-14 from the field in the Liberty’s game against the Connecticut Sun.
