INDIANAPOLIS (Feb. 17, 2024) – WNBA single-season 3-point record holder and New York Liberty guard Sabrina Ionescu and NBA all-time 3-point leader and Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry competed tonight in “Stephen vs. Sabrina,” the first-ever NBA vs. WNBA 3-Point Challenge, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis during State Farm All-Star Saturday Night.
Curry prevailed with a 29-point round, edging Ionescu’s 26-point performance. Sabrina’s 26 points tied the highest scoring round in this year’s NBA Starry 3-Point Contest, and she still holds the all-time single-round 3-Point contest record with 37 points during WNBA All-Star 2023.
Additionally, the NBA and WNBA donated to Sabrina and Stephen’s respective charities, SI20 Foundation and Eat.Learn.Play., while State Farm donated to the NBA Foundation to support economic empowerment in the Black community.
