NEW YORK – MAY 3, 2022 – Nyara Sabally, the Liberty’s No. 5 selection in the 2022 WNBA Draft, underwent a successful Osteochondral Autograft Transplantation (OCA) on her right knee today at Hospital for Special Surgery.
The procedure was performed by Dr. Riley Williams, the team’s orthopedic surgeon at Hospital for Special Surgery. Nyara will begin rehabilitation immediately, and she is expected to make a full recovery ahead of the 2023 season.
