New York Liberty Waive Cuevas-Moore, Faris, Huff

NEW YORK  May 20, 2019 – The New York Liberty announced today that the team has waived Bianca Cuevas-Moore, Kelly Faris and Megan Huff.

Cuevas-Moore was signed to training camp on April 18 and played in each of the team’s four preseason games. The 5-6 guard played her collegiate career at University of South Carolina, where she averaged 7.3 points and 1.7 assists per game.

Faris, a 5-11 guard was selected by the Connecticut Sun in the first round (11th overall) of the 2013 WNBA Draft. In her first season, she appeared in 24 games and scored a career-high 11 points in first start.

Huff, the Liberty’s 2019 third round draft pick (26th overall), is a 6-3 forward from the University of Utah. She finished her college career averaging 17.2 points and 8.8 rebounds per game.
