New York Liberty To Host Chicago Sky Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET

Team Welcomes Diaper Donations to Benefit Local Non-Profit

NEW YORK, NY (June 18, 2019)–The New York Liberty will host the Chicago Sky at Westchester County Center on Wednesday, June 19 at 7 p.m. ET.  In partnership with the non-profit of the night, the Junior League of Central Westchester (JLCW), the Liberty will also host a diaper drive to benefit the Westchester County Diaper Bank.

One in three caregivers can’t afford to provide a sufficient supply of diapers to keep a child clean, dry and healthy. The JLCW runs the Diaper Bank in partnership with the Westchester County Executive’s Office and the Westchester County Department of Social Services in order to provide free diapers to families, so they don’t have to choose between other basic necessities and diapers.

The Diaper Bank’s greatest need at this time is larger sizes (3,5,6) and pullups. Fans are encouraged to donate diapers or wipes to help local babies and families in need.

The Junior League of Central Westchester is a nonprofit women’s organization committed to promoting volunteerism; developing the potential of women; and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.
