NEW YORK – AUGUST 6, 2021 – The New York Liberty is partnering with Girl Scouts of Greater New York on a gameday takeover when the Liberty matchup against the Seattle Storm on August 18 at Barclays Center, the team’s first home game following the WNBA’s Olympic break.

Continuing the Liberty’s partnership with Girl Scouts of Greater New York which focuses on empowering young girls and women, the team will host several New York-based Girl Scout troops in VIP suites, provide giveaways including custom patches, and amplify Girl Scouts leadership programming.

In May, New York Liberty CEO, Keia Clarke, was named a recipient of the Gold Achievement Award at the 2021 Girl Scouts of Greater New York Gala. Several Liberty players have also participated in virtual events and engaged with Girl Scouts members and staff over the past year.
