From the Bay to BK! The Liberty Welcomes New Head Coach Chris DeMarco

The Liberty have officially opened an exciting new chapter, welcoming four-time NBA champion Chris DeMarco as the head coach of the franchise. After fourteen seasons with the Golden State Warriors, DeMarco arrives in Brooklyn carrying out the DNA of a dynasty, years of championship habits, sharpened player-development expertise, and a vision for what sustainable winning looks like.

Coach Chris hit the ground running on his first day out in the heart of Brooklyn! On Wednesday, he was introduced to the media and Liberty Loyals at Barclays Center speaking about his respect for the franchise, his eagerness to work with the roster, learn more about the organization, and his commitment to building a standard worthy of the Liberty’s ambitions.

Immediately after, Coach stepped onto the court at the Brooklyn Basketball Training Center to lead an all-girls clinic, setting the tone for a leader who values community connection as much as on-court excellence.

During his time in the Bay, DeMarco played a pivotal role on Warriors Head Coach Steve Kerr’s staff, helping guide the Warriors to four NBA championships and a historic 73-win season. Now, he brings that championship perspective to New York.

Natasha Cloud hasn’t sat down since the WNBA season ended and has been living her best life in NYC (as she should!). As if the Pinterest x High Snobiety tattoo party wasn’t enough for Tattoo Papi, our girl can’t get enough of the ink, joining Ink Master’s “No More Ink” alongside host Ryan Ashley Malarkey.
