As we reach the stretch run of the international season, Liberty players continued to impact winning and lead their teams to success all around the world in February. Let’s recap the end of the Unrivaled and Athletes Unlimited seasons and gear up for the upcoming international postseasons, along with the FIBA World Cup Qualifying Tournaments in March.

TURKEY

Kennedy Burke averaged 16.0 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.0 blocks in five February games, with a 4-1 record for ÇBK Mersin. Burke put up 20 points, seven rebounds and four assists against Panthinaikos on Feb. 12 in the EuroCup Women Quarter-Finals before leading Mersin over BLMA for the first EuroCup Women Finals appearance in franchise history. Burke and Mersin will face off against Athinaikos for the first leg of the Finals on April 2. Mersin also advanced to the KBSL postseason, where Burke’s squad will face off against Beşiktaş in a quarter-final matchup. Burke finished the KBSL regular season with averages of 15.1 points (11th), 7.1 rebounds (7th), 1.4 steals (9th) and 2.0 3-pointers per game (9th).

Emma Meesseman was the only player in the KBSL this regular season to finish in the league’s top 10 for both assists (3rd – 6.4 per game) and rebounds per game (8th – 8.0 per game). She led Fenerbahçe to an undefeated regular season while shooting 64.1 percent from the field in KBSL play. Meesseman recorded at least five assists in six of her seven February games and Fenerbahçe went 3-0 in her three EuroLeague contests this month. Meesseman earned EuroLeague February Team of the Month honors and was one of just two players to finish in the EuroLeague’s top-15 for average points, rebounds and assists this season.

Marine Johannès averaged 8.0 points, 3.2 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 1.2 steals in six contests this month while leading Galatasaray to a 4-2 record, including a 3-1 mark in four EuroLeague games. Galatasaray earned a KBSL postseason berth, beginning with a quarter-final matchup with Nesibe Aydin. The French guard finished the KBSL regular season shooting 40.9 percent from long range while averaging 8.8 points, 2.7 assists, 2.0 rebounds and 0.9 steals per contest.

SPAIN

Leonie Fiebich missed three games due to injury before returning on March 1 to knock down two 3-pointers and grab a pair of steals in just 15 minutes against Cadi La Seu. Fiebich has connected on a league-best 46.7 percent (42-for-90) of her long-range attempts in 17 LF Endesa games so far this regular season while averaging 2.5 made 3-pointers per game.

Raquel Carrera appeared in four games for Valencia this month, averaging 9.4 points, 8.2 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.8 steals in 21.7 minutes per game with a 3-1 record. Carrera grabbed at least six rebounds and a steal in each of her four contests while shooting 53.8 percent (7-for-13) from beyond the arc in February. The Spanish post player recorded her first double-double of the LF Endesa season with 10 points, 11 rebounds, two blocks and a steal against Estepona on Feb. 7.

AUSTRALIA

Han Xu capped off a dominant season in the WNBL with a 2026 Defensive Player of the Year award after averaging 16.2 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists and a league-high 2.2 blocks per game. Perth finished with a 16-4 record in 20 games since Han joined the team and made the WNBL Finals before falling to the Townsville Fire. She recorded five double-doubles this WNBL season and shot 50.4 percent from the field for Perth.

UNRIVALED

February was a busy month for Liberty players at Unrivaled. Breanna Stewart continued to show out in Miami, with three double-doubles in six games this month to go with averages of 21.7 points, 9.2 rebounds and 3.7 assists in February. She scored a season-high 31 points on Feb. 12 and won her first game of Unrivaled’s 1 on 1 Tournament against Li Yueru before falling in a matchup with Aliyah Boston. Stewart took her game to another level in the postseason, dazzling Barclays Center fans by scoring 23 points with eight rebounds, two steals and four blocks to lead Mist BC to a comeback win and a berth in the Unrivaled Championship game. Stewart took over in the final contest with 32 points on 73.3 percent (11-for-15) shooting from the field to earn Unrivaled Championship MVP honors. Stewart became the first player all-time to win an Unrivaled Championship, WNBA Finals, NCAA Championship and Olympic Gold Medal.

Natasha Cloud led Phantom BC to an Unrivaled Championship appearance before dropping a tight contest to Stewart and Mist BC. Cloud grabbed at least one steal in each of her final six games of the Unrivaled season while putting up 14 points, three rebounds and four assists with two steals in Phantom’s semifinals victory over Vinyl BC in Brooklyn. Cloud added a pair of double-digit scoring games in early February during Phantom’s eight-game winning streak and matched her season high with seven assists on Feb. 22.

ATHLETES UNLIMITED

The Athletes Unlimited season concluded with Rebekah Gardner finishing in third place on the league leaderboard with 5,269 total AU points. She was named a captain in each of the final three weeks of the AU season after consistent finishes near the top of the league leaderboard, and Gardner’s drafted teams went 6-3 with her at the helm. In her first season with Athletes Unlimited, Gardner averaged 12.8 points per game and ranked second in both field goal percentage and 3-point percentage while earning three Game MVP awards.

Isabelle Harrison returned from a five-game absence on Feb. 18 and scored in double figures over each of her last five games of the AU season while averaging 17.6 points and 9.2 rebounds per game in that span. She finished the season on March 1 by setting season highs in points and rebounds with a double-double of 23 points and 17 rebounds. Harrison was one of 10 AU players to record at least one double-double this season, and her 7.6 boards per game ranked sixth in the league.

The EuroLeague, EuroCup and KBSL postseasons continue in March, along with the LF Endesa regular season. Liberty players will also participate in the FIBA World Cup Qualifying Tournaments from March 11 to March 17, streaming on Courtside 1891 with select games on TNT, TruTV and HBO Max, and there will be Liberty representation across Belgium, France, Germany, Spain and Turkey.
