The “Libs Abroad Weekly Roundup,” a weekly content feature, will recap the entire week of Liberty players competing internationally throughout the 2021-22 overseas season. See below for Week Three’s roundup:

Tash Leads Dynamo Kursk in a Dominant Week

Natasha Howard and Dynamo Kursk had an impressive showing in week three, defeating Nadezhda O. by a score of 79-54 and Spar Girona, 92-75, in EuroLeague play.

Against Nadezhda O., Tash finished with a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds. Later in the week, she posted a season-high performance of 26 points, eight rebounds and three assists against Spar Girona.

With an overall record of 8-1 (5-0 PBL and 3-1 EuroLeague), the Liberty center is currently averaging 18.4 points and 9.4 rebounds per game through her first seven overseas contests.

Dynamo Kursk will look to continue their strong run this week in a two-game Russian League and EuroLeague slate later today and on November 2.

Another Sunday Funday in Italy for Gray

Reshanda Gray and Magnolia Campobasso have momentum on their side as they continued their perfect start to the season, defeating Sassari, 94-59.

Gray amassed a season-high double-double of 25 points on 69.2% (9-13) shooting from the field, 11 rebounds and three assists in last Sunday’s win. Reshanda and Campobasso will look to extend their start to 5-0 when they match up against Lucca tomorrow.

Jaz’s Huge Start in Turkey

In her second game with Antalya 07, Jaz Jones tallied another massive all-around performance of 24 points, seven assists, and four rebounds. Once again, Jaz’s performance led her club to victory as they won, 81-70, over Kayseri.

Jones will aim to continue her impressive start to overseas play later this morning when she faces Botas, and this Friday against Cankaya. To livestream Jaz’s Saturday morning matchup, please visit here.

Bec and Valencia Remain Undefeated

Coming off last week’s 2021 SuperCup Women win over UMMC Ekaterinburg, Bec Allen and Valencia BC continued their success into week three.

Allen’s week featured two solid performances to help lift Valencia’s overall record to 9-0. Against Promete, she recorded 12 points, five rebounds and three assists in the 63-58 win. Later in the week, Bec’s 14-point and seven-rebound outing led the Orange past Ensino, 66-46, in EuroCup action.

Valencia will face Estudiantes later today, followed by their second EuroCup meeting against Kangoeroes on November 3.

JoJo, Lyon Extend Win Streak to Four Games

Marine Johannès and LDLC ASVEL Féminin had another successful week as they were able extend their winning streak to four games in French League and EuroLeague action.

Marine recorded another pair of solid performances in Lyon’s two wins. In Lyon’s thirty-point victory over Landes, Johannès notched a stat line of 13 points, seven rebounds, and five assists. Later in the week, Marine totaled nine points on two-of-three from deep and three assists in a commanding 103-41 EuroCup win over Liege.

LDLC ASVEL Féminin will prepare for another week of domestic and international play when they take on Angers later today and Estudiantes on November 3.
