Liberty Sweep All-Star Weekend: Cloud & Sab Go Back-to-Back
The squad turned it up another notch during All-Star weekend in Indy!
The Liberty pulled up to Indy and left with the loot.
At the 2025 WNBA All-Star Weekend, Natasha Cloud and Sabrina Ionescu did what they do best—show out and shut it down. Cloud came out on top in the Kia WNBA Skills Challenge, while Sab brought home the trophy (again) in the WNBA STARRY® 3-Point Contest. With both wins, the Liberty became just the second team in W history to sweep the All-Star skill events in the same year.
Let’s start with TCloud. First time in the Skills Challenge and the DAWG came out. She cruised through the opening round in 34.1 seconds, then edged out Erica Wheeler in the final with a 36.4-second run. Calm, composed, collected. First try, first win. You love to see it!
Then there’s Sa-3-na— already known as the 3-point queen after her iconic 37-point record in 2023. She came back with more heat. Sab dropped 25 in the first round, then went off for 30 in the final to secure her second 3-Point Contest crown. She’s now the only player in WNBA history with multiple 30+ point rounds and one of just two to win this event more than once (shoutout Allie Quigley).
And the action didn’t stop there, Sab and Breanna Stewart both suited up for the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game. Sab with Team Clark and Stewie for Team Collier. Head Coach Sandy Brondello was on the sidelines, leading Team Clark… but when the clock hit zero, Team Collier took home the dub.
The Liberty didn’t just show up to All-Star— they owned it!
