On Sunday, the New York Liberty (30-7) defeated the Chicago Sky (15-22), 86-69, in the finale of their 2023 four-game season series, winning the series, 3-1.
Tonight’s victory secured the Liberty’s 30th win, marking the second-most wins in a season in WNBA history.
Per Across the Timeline, today’s contest marked the 33rd time this season that the Liberty finished with 20-plus assists, a new WNBA single-season record.

Her 26-point, 14-rebound performance secured her 19th double-double of the season, taking less than 23 minutes to tally 16 points and 10 boards. Additionally, Stewart is now just one double-double shy of the Liberty single-season record.
With her two blocks tonight bringing her season total to 59, she is now just nine blocks from breaking the franchise single-season blocks record. In her debut season, she has already set the single-season scoring and rebounds records.
Recording her seventh double-double of the season, Courtney Vandersloot finished with a record-breaking line of 20 points on 53.8% (7-13) shooting from the field, including 71.4% (5-7) from three, 10 assists, six steals, five rebounds, and two blocks.
