A very close game took place in Mersin between Adana ASKI and Botas. Thirteenth ranked Adana ASKI picked up a very close home victory over higher ranked Botas and managed to escape with a 3-point win. Shavonte Zellous chipped in 27 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners. Adana ASKI closed out the regular season on a high note, winning three games in a row.

Avery Warley-Talbert and Botas were not able to clinch playoff berth after losing to Adana ASKI 72-75 to fall to 10-14 overall and finish just on the outside of the top eight in the KBSL standings. Warley-Talbert turned in a solid performance with 12 points and eight boards, but her team was unable to prevail in the one possession game. She finished her Turkish League season averaging a double-double with 13.8 points and 10.3 rebounds per game while shooting 54.6 percent from the floor.

In the opener of the Championship series, Maccabi Ramat Hen took the first game. They made 28-33 free throws during the game while Maccabi Ashdod only scored nine points from the stripe. Tanisha Wright chipped in with 8 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for her team but it was not enough but they stormed into Game 2. Maccabi Ashdod held Maccabi Ramat Hen to an 20 percent shooting from the field while shooting 43.9 percent themselves. Maccabi Ashdod looked well organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Maccabi Ramat Hen’s players. Wright chipped in 4 points to help her team in the victory.
