With the No. 38 pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft, the reigning champs selected 6’3 French center Adja Kane, adding another rising international talent to the Liberty family.

At just 20 years old, Kane is already turning heads in France’s top league, suiting up for Landerneau Bretagne Basket and putting up solid numbers: 4.9 points, 4.0 boards, 1.2 blocks, and 1.1 assists per game. She’s also been repping her country on the international stage, most recently with France’s U20 squad at EuroBasket.

“Adja is a young, promising player from a respected program in France, and we’re excited to support her development overseas,” said Liberty GM Jonathan Kolb. “Our commitment to international talent runs deep—and this was a unique opportunity to grow that vision for the future.”

Adja will continue her journey in Europe for now but make no mistake—we’re keeping close tabs on her growth. With size, skill, and potential to develop into a true force, her story with the Liberty is just beginning.
