2020 Season in Review: Amanda Zahui B
The 2020 season marked Amanda Zahui B’s sixth season in the WNBA. The Stockholm native appeared and started in 21 of the Liberty’s 22-game slate. Zahui B averaged career-highs of 9.0 points per game, 8.5 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 25.3 minutes per game. She also netted a career-best 34 made three-point field goals, which ranked 1st among all centers in the WNBA.
Zahui B recorded season-highs of 22 points (Chicago, 8/25), 21 rebounds (Las Vegas, 8/29), 5 assists (Connecticut, 8/22), 4 steals (Minnesota, 8/4) and 3 blocks (2 games). Her 21 rebounds on August 29 against Las Vegas set the Liberty single-game rebounding record and the all-time WNBA single-game defensive rebound record (21).
