Pride Month presented by Resorts World Casino NYC

The New York Liberty is a proud participant in Pride Month again this June supporting Liberty and Equality for all. The Liberty have been all over the five boroughs spreading the word with the local New York community along with presenting sponsor Resorts World Casino New York City.

On June 26th, the United States rejoiced when the LGBTQ community was given the constitutional right to marry in all 50 states. The Liberty shared the joy in the monumental decision.

On Sunday, June 27th, the Liberty were out in Harlem representing at the Harlem Pride Festival! Kym Hampton met with fans and even gave out tickets to Liberty games!

On Monday, June 22nd, Essence Carson went out to support another Pride Month event,  Garden Party 32: Taste of Pride at Pier 84 in NYC. She hung out with a special guest!

To kick off Pride Month, New York & Resorts World Casino hosted Pride Night at the Garden during their matchup vs. Atlanta on Friday, June 19th. Resorts World Casino presented Pride Night pre-game activities such as face paint and a jeopardy wheel to win prizes.

DJ Nina Sky was also in the building kicking off the festivities.

On Saturday, June 13th, the Liberty was at the Brooklyn Pride Festival, where Liberty legend Sue Wicks was on hand to sign autographs to Liberty fans that support Pride Month.

We began the month at the Queens Pride Festival on Sunday, June 7th in Jackson Heights, where fans joined us to get some Liberty Swag or plan a trip to MSG to watch the Liberty.
