Today, Bec Allen was tabbed the Libs Abroad December Player of the Month after averaging 14.6 points and shooting 52.5% (21-40) from distance, leading Valencia BC to a perfect 7-0 December campaign. Most recently, Bec totaled 17 points on four-of-seven (57.1%) shooting from three and six-of-11 (54.5%) from the field on December 28 in an 88-56 win over Clarinos.
In her first game with Hatayspor, Jaz Jones led her new club to a 93-90 victory with a team-high 23 points on three-of-six (50.0%) shooting deep, eight-of-14 (57.1%) from the field, three rebounds, and three assists.
This week, Michaela Onyenwere posted her second consecutive game of 17+ points in Spain. Michaela recorded 17 points on six-of-14 (42.8%) shooting from the field, four-of-four at the line, and a pair of rebounds in Spar Girona’s 30-point, 94-64, win on December 28 against Ferrol.
Kylee Shook had another impactful outing on the glass for Adelaide in the team’s second win of the season, adding four points, eight rebounds and two assists in the 65-53 defeat of the Melbourne Boomers.
Sami Whitcomb has officially re-signed with the Perth Lynx of Australia’s WNBL and will begin her season on January 2 against Kylee and the Adelaide Lightning.
