Gray Named Libs Abroad November Player of the Month

Reshanda Gray posted another dominant month with Magnolia Campobasso, recording averages of 19.3 points and 9.7 rebounds per game and a field goal percentage of 64.7% (22-34) through the month of November.; garnering the most recent Libs Abroad Player of the Month Award.

Gray’s stellar month was highlighted by a 27-point, 11-rebound performance in Campobasso’s 74-71 win over reigning Serie A1 Champion Venezia on November 21.

Reshanda has now recorded a double-double in five of her first seven overseas contests. The 6-2 veteran forward and Campobasso (5-3) will look ahead to their upcoming four matchups in December, starting with Schio on December 5.

Bec Finishes EuroCup Schedule Undefeated, Leads Comeback with a 20-Point Effort

Bec Allen and Valencia successfully completed their undefeated EuroCup regular season campaign, finishing a perfect 6-0 after defeating Ensino, 60-53, on December 2.

Allen led Valencia with a game-high 20 points while shooting 50% from both the field and three, going 8-12 and 4-8, respectively. Bec tied her season high with seven rebounds and added three assists along with two steals.

One week prior, Bec helped the Orange secure a 96-30 EuroCup victory over Namur. The Australia-native contributed 14 points while continuing her stellar three-point shooting, finishing on 66.7% (2-3) from distance.

Valencia will now pivot to Liga Femenina Endesa play and look ahead to their remaining 20-game regular season slate, beginning tomorrow against Ferrol.

Natasha, Dynamo Kursk Continue Dominant Run in Russia’s PBL

Through her first seven contests in domestic league action, Natasha Howard is averaging a double-double of 19.4 points and 10.1 rebounds per game en route to an overall record of 9-0.

Most recently, Tash posted a commanding double-double of 18 points and 13 rebounds in Dynamo K.’s 79-56 victory over Sparta&K MR on November 28.

Tomorrow, Dynamo Kursk (9-0, 3-4) will return to the hardwood on when they take on Dynamo NR in PBL play, followed by a mid-week EuroLeague tilt against Arka Gdynia on December 8.

JoJo, Lyon Win 11 Consecutive Games

After starting their 2021 campaign 0-3, Marine Johannès and LDLC ASVEL Féminin have extended their winning streak to 11 games across Ligue Féminine de Basketball and EuroLeague action.

Following the 2023 FIBA EuroBasket Qualifiers where she represented France, Marine consecutively totaled 11 points in three of her four contests with Lyon. Over that stretch, she shot 44.0% (11-25) from beyond the arc while averaging 4.25 assists per game.

After finishing their regular season EuroCup schedule 5-1, LDLC ASVEL Féminin will prepare for 14 upcoming LFB games, which will resume on December 11 against BLMA.

Jaz, Antalya 07 Gear Up for Fenerbahçe and Hatay

Jaz Jones’ November was highlighted by a Libs Abroad-best 37 points on 14-of-23 (60.8%) from the field and six rebounds against Çankaya Üniversitesi on November 5.

After the EuroBasket Qualifier break, Jaz and Antalya 07 returned to action against Galatasaray on November 20 and Mersin on November 28. Jones finished with nine and 16 points, respectively.

The incoming third-year Liberty guard will take the floor tomorrow against No. 1-seeded Fenerbahçe, followed by Hatay on December 11.

Marine F., Landes Look Ahead to December 11 Matchup

Marine Fauthoux and Basket Landes dropped their domestic and international split this past week. Fauthoux scored five and eight points in the two contests, highlighted by a 40.0% (2-5) shooting performance from three in EuroLeague play against top-seeded Sopron.

On December 11, Marine and Landes (5-2, 3-4) will return to action when they take on Angers in their next Ligue Féminine de Basketball contest.
