Jaz Explodes for Second 30-Point Game of the Season

After tallying a Libs Abroad-best 37 points on November 5, Jaz Jones filled the box score again en route to a 32-point finish on December 11 against Hatay.

Jones finished the contest on 12-of-28 (42.8%) from the field, four-of-nine (44.4%) from distance, four rebounds and four assists.

Tomorrow, Jaz and Antalya 07 will take on Nesibe, followed by another KBSL matchup on Christmas Day against Izmit.

Tash Drops 25+ in Three-of-Four Last Games

HIGHLIGHTS

This month, Natasha Howard continued her dominant play across the PBL and EuroLeague. Howard’s December performance is highlighted by three games of 25+ points, finishing with 25 against Galatasaray, 26 points against Nika, and a season-high tie of 28 points against Dynamo NR.

Additionally, Tash has recorded a double-double in three of her last four contests, including a 13-point, 12-rebound outing against Arka Gdynia in a pivotal 67-64 EuroLeague win.

The Liberty forward and Dynamo Kursk (11-0) will look ahead to a marquee PBL matchup against UMMC (10-0) later today in a meeting of undefeated squads, followed by a midweek EuroLeague bout against Marine Fauthoux and Basket Landes on December 21.

Although Marine Johannès and LDLC ASVEL Féminin’s 11-game winning streak across LFB and EuroCup action came to an end, Johannès has put on a shooting clinic throughout her first three games of December; two of which were victories of 58 and 47 points.

Over the three-game span, Marine shot a combined 12-of-20 (60.0%) from beyond the arc while recording two games of 20+ points. JoJo’s top performance from distance came on November 15, when she knocked down six out of seven three-point attempts, finishing with a field goal percentage of 85.7% from deep.

LDLC ASVEL Féminin will prepare for a pair of games this week, featuring a domestic matchup against Bourges later today, followed by their second-round EuroCup playoff match against Hatay on December 22.

Allen and Valencia Are Locked In Across Both Leagues

After finishing the EuroCup regular season a perfect 6-0, Bec Allen and Valencia BC cruised to victory in their first-round playoff matchup, 80-63, over Crvena Zvezda.

Allen totaled 12 points on five-of-11 (45.4%) from the field, four blocks, and three rebounds over 28 minutes. Earlier in the month, Bec recorded her top performance of December when she dropped 18 points on three-of-four (75.0%) from three, grabbed seven boards, and swiped four steals in Valencia’s 67-52 victory over Ferrol.

The reigning EuroCup Champions will take the floor later today in a domestic tilt against Ensino, then prepare for a rematch against Crvena Zvezda in the second round of the EuroCup playoffs on December 22.

Marine F. Goes for a Season-High Against Fenerbahçe

HIGHLIGHTS

On December 15, Marine Fauthoux posted a season-best 19 points on three-of-four (75.0%) shooting from deep, seven-of-11 from the field (63.6%), and a season-high nine assists against Fenerbahçe in EuroLeague play.

Last week, Fauthoux tied her previous season highs of 14 points and seven rebounds against Schio on December 9.

Marine and Basket Landes will gear up for Flammes later today, as well as another tough EuroLeague opponent in Natasha Howard’s Dynamo Kursk on December 21.

Gray Posts Pair of Double-Doubles

After garnering the November Libs Abroad Player of the Month Award, Reshanda Gray posted another pair of double-doubles for Magnolia Campobasso to begin her December campaign.

Gray finished with 12 points and 10 rebounds against Schio on December 5 and followed up her performance with an 18-point, 10-board showing in a commanding 72-49 win over Moncalieri on December 12.

Reshanda has now recorded a double-double in seven of her first nine overseas contests. Campobasso, currently 6-4, will look ahead to their next contest on Sunday with Faenza.

Kylee Dominates the Glass in Australia Debut

In her overseas debut for the Adelaide Lightning of Australia’s WNBL, Kylee Shook wasted no time to make an impact in the frontcourt.

Shook recorded nine points, knocked down one of her two three-point attempts, secured a game-high 14 rebounds, and dished four assists across 36 minutes.

Kylee and the Lightning will vie for their first win of the season when they face the Canberra Capitals tomorrow, December 19.
