The “Libs Abroad Weekly Roundup,” a weekly content feature, will recap the entire week of Liberty players competing internationally throughout the 2021-22 overseas season. See below for Week Four’s roundup:
Anyone Order a 37-Piece?
Jaz Jones shined in her third and fourth games with Antalya 07. Last Saturday, Jaz tallied an impressive 18-point, six-rebound outing in a 75-65 win over Botas. However, her 18-point afternoon would ultimately be less than half of her recent scoring output. On Friday, Jones finished with a Libs Abroad-best 37 points on 14-of-23 (60.8%) from the field and six rebounds against Çankaya Üniversitesi in a narrow 72-70 loss.
After a mid-season break, Jaz and Antalya 07 will look ahead to their next matchup in two weeks against Galatasaray on November 20.
Gray Posts a Season-High Double-Double on Halloween
Reshanda Gray continued her dominant start with Magnolia Campobasso, posting a season-best double-double of 26 points and 11 rebounds against Lucca on October 31.
Gray has now recorded a double-double in three of her first four overseas contests. Reshanda and Campobasso (4-1) will look to return to the win column when they match up against Broni tomorrow.
