JoJo Carries Lyon to Their Seventh Consecutive Win; Represents France in 2023 FIBA EuroBasket Qualifier

Despite an 0-3 start to the 2021 series, Marine Johannès and LDLC ASVEL Féminin have now extended their winning streak to seven consecutive victories across Ligue Féminine de Basketball and EuroLeague play

Marine finished with her best performance of the young season on November 6, recording a game-high 19 points on five-of-eight (62.5%) shooting from deep and three assists in Lyon’s convincing 95-61 win over Roche.

Johannès’ most recent game was on November 11 when she tallied 12 points and four assists in the 2023 FIBA Women’s EuroBasket Qualifier opening round against Ukraine.

JoJo and France (0-1) will play again tomorrow against Lithuania in their second of two qualifying matches with tip-off scheduled for 10:30 am EST live on YouTube. LDLC ASVEL Féminin will return to play next Saturday, November 20 against Tarbes.

Gray’s Double-Double Streak

Reshanda Gray kept up her stellar play in Italy this week, posting her third consecutive double-double of 19 points and 11 rebounds on five-of-seven (71.4%) shooting against Broni on November 6.

Gray has now recorded a double-double in four of her first five overseas contests. After their mid-season break, Reshanda and Campobasso (4-2) will look to return to the win column when they match up against Venezia on Sunday, November 21.
