The “Libs Abroad Weekly Roundup,” a weekly content feature, recaps the entire week of Liberty players competing internationally throughout the 2021-22 overseas season. See below for Week Thirteen’s roundup:

Jaz Jones is off to a strong start in her 2022 campaign with Hatayspor. Jaz posted a pair of impressive finishes this week, recording 19 points and four rebounds against Ormanspor on January 2, followed by a 17-point and five-rebound performance against Beskitas on January 6. Over the two-game span, Jones shot a combined six of 10 (60.0%) from beyond the arc.

Kylee Shook helped Adelaide secure their third-straight win, defeating Sami Whitcomb’s Perth Lynx in what turned into the most exciting head-to-head Libs Abroad matchup of the 2021-22 overseas season thus far (watch the game replay here). In the 88-86 win, Kylee totaled a season-high 12 points on six for 12 (50.0%) from the field and continued her steady output on the boards with five total rebounds.

In Perth’s first game of the WNBL season, Sami Whitcomb hit the ground running with her long-time overseas squad. Sami showcased an all-around performance of 13 points, nine of which came from deep, seven assists, three rebounds, and three steals across 35 minutes.

On January 4, Michaela Onyenwere recorded her third consecutive game of double figure scoring in Spain. Now 3-0 during her time with Spar Girona, Michaela netted 10 points and grabbed three boards in the team’s 20-point victory over Ensino.
