In her first game in exactly one month, Natasha Howard recorded one of her top performances of the overseas season with Dynamo Kursk. Tash filled up the stat sheet with a EuroLeague personal season-high 26 points on 10 for 19 (52.6%) from the field, four of four from deep, two of two at the line, and a season-high 17 rebounds over 34 minutes.

Marine Fauthoux carried last week’s momentum into Thursday’s outing. In Landes’ 87-74 EuroLeague victory, Fauthoux totaled a season-high 22 points on 12 of 15 (80.0%) shooting from the field, two of five (40.0%) from three, five assists and three boards in 28 minutes of action.

Marine Johannès and LDLC ASVEL Féminin extended their undefeated streak to four games behind one of her top scoring outputs on the season. Marine totaled a game-high 19 points on seven of 14 (50.0%) shooting, four assists, and three rebounds in a convincing 95-62 domestic win over Bretagne. Johannès has now recorded double figure scoring in her last seven contests.

In her return to the hardwood since suffering an ACL injury in December 2020, Paris Kea has provided steady production for Sparta&K MR through her first three contests in Russia. Paris has averaged 13.3 points while shooting 54.5% (6-11) three, highlighted by her most recent outing of 16 points where she converted on three of five (60.0%) from distance in an 82-59 win over Samara.

Neah Odom made her international professional debut this past week with Kyiv Basket in Ukraine. Neah’s week was highlighted by a 14-point, seven-rebound performance that included an efficient eight for nine (88.9%) showing at the free throw line.

Bec Allen finished the week with an 11-point, five-rebound performance on two of four (50.0%) shooting from beyond the arc, leading Valencia to an 86-73 EuroCup victory over Ormanspor. With the yesterday’s win, the reigning EuroCup champions advanced to the Round of 8 against BC Polkowice. Last weekend, Bec added five points and a pair of rebounds against Spar Girona.

Sami Whitcomb saw action in another pair of games this week with the Perth Lynx. On January 17, Sami tallied a near double-double of 10 points and nine rebounds in a narrow 77-80 loss to Melbourne. Whitcomb and the Lynx responded with a 102-73 victory over Canberra two days later, finishing with an all-around outing of nine points, five boards, and four assists.

In a meeting of two of the top three clubs in Spain, Michaela Onyenwere and Spar Girona secured the victory over Bec Allen and Valencia on January 16. Michaela added four points and four rebounds in the 61-55 win, surpassing Valencia for second place in the LF Endesa standings with an overall record of 13-3.
