Following Natasha Howard’s successful 2022 campaign in her second season with the New York Liberty that saw her selected as a WNBA All-Star, tie the franchise record for consecutive double-doubles (5), and help the Liberty earn its second consecutive playoff berth, the incoming tenth-year WNBA veteran signed with Turkish powerhouse: Fenerbahçe.
Natasha quickly established herself as a key cog in the team’s rotation where she currently paces the offense in combined scoring averages across KBSL and EuroLeague play. Through four contests in the month of October, Natasha averaged 17.3 points and 6.5 rebounds per game.
Howard impressed in her Turkish League debut with Fenerbahçe, guiding her club to a 71-63 victory over Mersin on October 9. Her effort proved to be a difference-maker after finishing the contest with 16 points on 40.0% (6-15) shooting from the field, six rebounds and four steals across a team-high 37 minutes.
On October 15, the 6-2 power forward followed up with her top performance of the month, recording 22 points, six rebounds, four assists and four steals on 38.8% (7-18) from the field and 80.0% (8-10) from the charity stripe in an 83-45 rout against Antalya 07.
The following weekend, Natasha efficiently posted 16 points and six boards on 50.0% shooting from the field (5-10) and three (1-2) over 20 minutes of action.
To conclude her October campaign, Howard provided continued production in her EuroLeague season debut. Against Polkowice, she tallied 15 points on 50.0% (2-4) from three and a pair of rebounds and assists across 32 minutes.
