9/18 (Queens): Carnaval de la Cultura Latina – The Carnaval de la Cultura Latina’s goal is to promote the arts, music, dance and good food of Latin American countries, as well as to provide a day of fun for the whole family.

10/2 (Manhattan): Ballet Hispánico’s A La Calle Block Party is a joyous celebration of Latinx dance, music, art, food, and culture!

10/8 (Brooklyn): Panamanian Day Parade – The Panamanian Parade celebrates and honors leaders, educators, artists and celebrities who have left a cultural footprint in the United States.

10/9 (Manhattan): Hispanic Day Parade – The 56th Hispanic Day Parade brings together all Latino and Hispanic nations in a parade that moves through the heart of Manhattan, passing by iconic landmarks such as Rockefeller Plaza, Central Park and St. Patrick’s Cathedral.

10/13 (Bronx): Virtual Comics Chat Hispanic Heritage Month and Mysteries – The New York Public Library are hosting a virtual chat where three librarians talk about some of their personal favorite comics and manga. The theme will be Mysteries and books for Hispanic American Heritage Month. Teens who attend and visit any of the three libraries afterwards can get a free comic book to keep.
