WHAT FANS CAN EXPECT UPON RETURNING TO BARCLAYS CENTER

Barclays Center is committed to hosting world-class sports and entertainment with the primary goal of keeping all fans, guests, employees, players, and performers safe. Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been working diligently with the NBA, the WNBA, New York State, New York City, and our own medical experts, as informed by the CDC, to establish and implement health and safety protocols for anyone who enters the arena.

Please note that, per current government guidelines for attending indoor events at venues such as Barclays Center, all guests ages 12 and older must provide proof of a COVID-19 vaccination, which means you’ve had at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. However, in accordance with New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio’s recent updates to the Key to NYC program, beginning December 14, children ages 5 to 11 will be required to show proof of at least one COVID-19 vaccine dose, and beginning December 27, guests ages 12 and older must show proof of two COVID-19 vaccine doses, or one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. As advised by the Commissioner of the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, it is strongly recommended that all guests wear a facemask at all times while within Barclays Center, except when actively eating or drinking. Please be further advised that face coverings must be worn at all times – except when actively eating or drinking – by any fan that is not fully vaccinated, and fans seated in certain sections proximate to the playing court, unless you were advised otherwise. Certain event promoters may independently make additional requirements which could include, without limitation, proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or mandatory facemask. We will advise primary ticket purchasers for each event of the health and safety protocols ultimately applicable to such event when determined, which shall, as applicable, be informed by CDC, State, City, event promoter, and/or sport governing body COVID-19 health and safety guidance and protocols.

MASK POLICY

As advised by the Commissioner of the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, it is strongly recommended that all guests wear a facemask at all times while within Barclays Center, except when actively eating or drinking. WHAT DOES FULLY VACCINATED MEAN?
