New York, August 31, 2015 – The New York Liberty announced today that 2015 WNBA Playoff ticket strips are on sale now and individual tickets for the first round of the playoffs will go on sale Thursday, September 3 – to Liberty corporate partners and Liberty Insiders at 11 a.m., and the general public at 2 p.m. To become a Liberty Insider and gain exclusive early access to playoffs tickets presales, visit nyliberty.com.

Fans can purchase New York Liberty 2015 WNBA Playoffs ticket strips to receive access to every Liberty postseason home game. All Liberty playoff game dates and times are to be announced.

Individual playoff game tickets, which go on sale Thursday, Sept. 3, will be for two potential first round home games.

With its 81-68 win over the Minnesota Lynx last Friday night at Madison Square Garden, the New York Liberty officially secured a berth into the WNBA Playoffs 2015 presented by Boost Mobile. The Liberty qualified for the playoffs for the first time since the 2012 season and the 13th time in franchise history.

With two weeks remaining in the regular season, the Liberty currently own the best record in the WNBA at 20-8. New York was the first team in the league to reach 20 wins and the fastest to do so in franchise history.

The top four teams from each conference qualify for the WNBA Playoffs, and the conference semifinals and finals consist of a best-of-three series with a 1-1-1 format. The WNBA Finals is a best-of-five series featuring a 2-2-1 format, with home court advantage being awarded to the team with the best regular season record.
