The New York Liberty has partnered with Olympic gold medal winning gymnast Nastia Liukin and her inspirational SHINE Tour, which will be coming to Madison Square Garden on Friday, August 21, prior to the Liberty’s game that night against the Atlanta Dream.
There will be a very special promotion for this exciting opportunity to meet Nastia at The Garden and catch the New York Liberty in action. Tickets will cost $150, which includes entry to The SHINE Tour, a ticket to the New York Liberty game that evening, and a $10 food and beverage credit at Madison Square Garden.
This night is not about gymnastics – it’s a chance for Nastia to interact with girls of all ages – athletes and non-athletes – to share her story and talk with them about the issues that they are facing. Nastia has had many amazing opportunities in her life, but she has also faced disappointments and she has learned from her journey the importance of goal setting, motivation, self confidence and a good support system. Her hope is that every girl will leave this event feeling inspired to SHINE in their own life.
Nastia’s special presentation will be followed by an informal hour of hanging out with Nastia – participants will be able to talk with her, get autographs, and take pictures.
