Late Surge Powers Liberty Past Stars 90-75

SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS – JUNE 11, 2016 – The New York Liberty used a 12-0 run in the fourth quarter to end its three-game road trip on a high note with a 90-75 victory over the San Antonio Stars on Saturday night at the AT&T Center.

The Liberty entered the fourth quarter with a slim 62-61 lead in what had been a close game all night before surging ahead for good.

Astou Ndor nailed a 3-pointer to give the Stars a 64-62 lead, but New York answered with back-to-back buckets in the paint, first a strong take from Kiah Stokes followed by a pretty Carolyn Swords bank shot, the start of what turned into that decisive run.
