Tina Charles continues to dominate in the WCBA in China as they continue to move up in their rankings. Charles has posted a double-double for three-straight games, which helped lead her team to victories. The Sydney Uni Flames loss by 1 point to fourth ranked Townsville Fire, while center Carolyn Swords contributed 11 points and 6 rebounds.

The most exciting game of round 10 took place in Sydney, who faced fourth ranked Townsville Fire. Four Sydney Uni Flames players scored in double figures, including Carolyn Swords, who posted 11 points to go along with six rebounds. The defending champion Townsville moved-up to third place while the Sydney Uni Flames dropped down the fourth position in what remains a very congested table in the second half of the season. Swords and the Flames will face a tough test against second-place Bendigo on Friday.

Five Xinjiang players scored in double figures, Tina Charles had a double-double scoring 24 points and 16 rebound. December 10th, third ranked Xinjiang defeated 6th ranked Shanxi Rui Flame. Tina Charles went for a back to back double-double scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds in 31 minutes of play. However, despite the victory Xinjiang dropped to 4th position due to points difference. The game of the week was between the league leader Shanghai and Xinjiang on December 12th. There were 25 personal fouls from opponent Shanghai which helped Xinjiang get some easy free throw opportunities. Charles led her team with her third double-double of the week, scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds. Xinjiang maintains the position of Top 6 leader at 15-4 overall this year.
