She has unofficially taken on the role of team chef and bakes a lot for birthdays and special occasions, and tries to find hot spots in New York City.

What’s Brewin’ with New York Liberty veteran forward Tina Charles? Tina keeps a busy schedule off the court but one of the things she is most passionate about his her Hopey’s Heart Foundation. Hopey’s Heart pays tribute to Tina’s late Aunt and raises money to provide the placement of AED’s both in the United States and abroad. For the second year in a row, Tina is donating half of her WNBA salary to Hopey’s Heart, and she talks about why the cause is so important to her and what her goals are for the future.
